Due to increasing Lake Mexia elevation County Road 475 will be closed until further notice.
Due to localized rains in Lake Mexia watershed the water level is expected to rise over the next 18 hours and reach the elevation of a major flood event. As we monitor the water rise additional alerts may be sent out to update the expected peak elevation. As of 07:45a the current level is 449.90 MSL.
